Meet Harriet
A planner & co-ordinator with a former West End swing's eye for detail.
I'm Harriet, the founder and planner behind Dorset Wedding Co.
Before I planned weddings, I was a swing in one of the biggest musicals in the world - the person who learns multiple roles and steps in when something changes at the last minute.
That background is why I'm calm under pressure, quick on my feet and genuinely love it when the plan suddenly shifts. Your day should feel effortless to you, even when there's a lot happening behind the scenes.

We met on 17th March, which didn't leave us long. But they knew exactly what they wanted, and my job was simply to help them get there.
An intimate, vintage, classic English wedding: an outdoor ceremony beneath the huge tree, a marquee, a proper Sunday roast, handmade VHS tape place names, candlelight and fairy lights everywhere, a handmade photo booth, a self-serve bar and a truly heroic amount of coffee.
Their dog Zanu did an excellent job as ring bearer, and nobody left the dance floor for the whole of the DJ set. Beautiful weather, too - apart from the wind, which had opinions.
The wedding was completely theirs. I was there to facilitate it, organise it and make sure their ideas came to life.
